Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the Aqua Bike Whale and the Shark?
The Whale (£2,275) is our premium model. It has an adjustable resistance wheel, so you can control how hard each session feels. It weighs 13 kg. The Shark (£1,695) uses the water's natural resistance — no settings to adjust. It weighs 12 kg. Both have fully adjustable frames and fit any pool with a minimum depth of 1.2 m.
Is the Aqua Bike Shrimp suitable for my child?
The Shrimp is designed for children aged 6 to 12. It's built to the same professional standard as our adult bikes, but sized for younger riders. The frame adjusts as they grow, and it's designed for extra stability in the water.
What pool depth do I need?
All of our equipment requires a minimum pool depth of 1.2 metres. This applies to the aqua bikes, treadmill, and trampoline.
What are the bikes made from?
All frames are made from professional-grade aluminium. It won't rust, even with daily pool use.
How much weight can the Aqua Trampoline support?
The Aqua Trampoline supports up to 150 kg. It has 8 suction feet for maximum stability on the pool floor.
Do I need electricity or a power supply for any of the equipment?
No. All of our equipment is manual — no power supply required. The aqua bikes are pedal-driven and the treadmill is powered by your own movement.
How do I maintain my aqua bike?
Rinse the bike with fresh water after each use. When it's not in use, store it out of the pool. Avoid impacts to the frame or painted surfaces. That's it — the aluminium frame doesn't rust, so maintenance is minimal.
Can I leave the equipment in the pool permanently?
We recommend taking the equipment out of the water when it's not in use. While the aluminium won't rust, leaving it submerged long-term can affect the wear parts (saddle, straps, handles) and any painted surfaces.
How heavy are the bikes? Can I move them in and out of the pool easily?
The Shark weighs 12 kg and the Whale weighs 13 kg, making them some of the lightest aqua bikes on the market. Most people can lift them in and out of the pool without help.
